Accessibility statement

Watt iQ is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Every page is usable by keyboard alone, every control has a visible label and focus state, colour never carries meaning on its own, and motion respects the reduced motion setting on your device.

What that means here

  • The animated energy scene has a written description that updates with the readings, and every value is repeated as text below it.
  • Every chart has a keyboard slider to inspect individual points and a table view with the same numbers.
  • Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, and graphics that carry meaning meet 3 to 1, in both light and dark mode.
  • Signing in never requires a puzzle. The optional second step is a code from an authenticator app, which you can paste.
  • Pages reflow to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling and text can be enlarged to 200 percent.

Known limits

  • The QR code shown during two-factor setup is an image. The same key is provided as text beside it so it can be typed instead.
  • Live readings update automatically. Screen readers are not interrupted by each update; values can be read on demand from the tiles under the scene.
